During this one-hour fun-filled program your family will have the opportunity to learn about our ponies (safety, communication, body parts…), they will learn how to lead, groom and discover the obstacle course. This hands-on experience at JohnMel Stables is a one of a kind, unique, outdoor experience. If you want your child to ride on a horse we charge an additional $30 plus HST.
We offer two options, a one time session which is a perfect day out for the entire family and a session of four with various skills to learn under a program layout. There is a pony led ride at the end of the session of four. We do not give riding lessons to children and believe that our family time session of four provides a strong foundation into the equine world.
We offer:
- 1 time session – $80 per adult, $40 per child +HST
- An extra charge of $30 plus HST for a ride at the end of the session
- Session of 4 with certificate (one adult, one child) – $420 +HST
